Hey guys…Welcome aboard to the KVHS family…
My name is Derek Pierce – that’s me you see in the picture on the right…
And a few weeks ago, I received this huge package in the mail from a good friend of mine.
I opened it up and it was the coolest gift I believe I’ve ever received – it was a drone. To be specific, it was a DJI Phantom 2.
Now, I knew nothing about drones except the special that I’d seen on Amazon several months ago – but thought it was super cool.
Anyway, I brought the package home, unboxed it and had my wife help put it together.
(Putting stuff together isn’t my strong suit.)
Anyway, we had the quadcopter put together in less than an hour as the instructions were pretty easy to grasp and started flying it shortly after.
We equipped it together with a GoPro Here 3 camera and we were off to the races.
And that’s how KVHS was formed – as I began to fly, I became inspired to show off some of our flights, provide reviews, tips as well as give me more excuses to test out other equipment.
So, buckle up for the ride – I’m looking forward to sharing some of the footage from my recent flights, tips, and overall advice on getting the most from your drone.
